The Palais Kees is located in the Inner City of Graz. It is considered the most significant late-classical building in the city.

History+

The construction of Palais Kees took place between 1843 and 1845. It was designed by Georg Hauberrisser the Elder for Johann Christoph Kees as an apartment building. From 1884, the building served as the headquarters of the Imperial and Royal Corps Command. After renovation and restoration work, which began in 2009, the former Palais was converted into a student dormitory.
