University of Salzburg

The palace was built and expanded between the 16th and 18th centuries and inhabited by the Lords of Rehlingen until 1765. In 1765, Johann Ernst von Antretter, Chancellor of the Salzburg Landschaft and Imperial War Councillor, bought the property. Today, the palace houses the Institute for Musicology at the University of Salzburg.
