Palais Rothschild
The Palais Rothschild, also known as Palais Springer, is a residence in Vienna. Located in the 3rd district of Landstraße, it now houses an educational institution.
History+
The construction of the Palais Rothschild took place between 1891 and 1893. The plans for the building were drawn up by architects Armand Bauqué and Albert Pio. The original client was Baron Othon de Bourgoing, who had already commissioned another palace on Metternichgasse from the same architects in 1890. Before being owned by the Rothschild family, the palace belonged to the Springer family, which is why it is also known as Palais Springer.

Today, the building serves as an outpost of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
