Pfeilburg is one of the oldest preserved secular buildings in the city. The core of the building is one of the oldest preserved medieval residential towers in Styria. This tower, also known as "Schwarzturm" (Black Tower), was probably the most significant tower in Fürstenfeld's city wall.
