Quadtsches Castle

The origins of the estate date back to 1367, when an Augustinian provostry was founded on this site. This suffered damage in the Peasants' War in 1525 and never fully recovered afterwards. In the first half of the 18th century, under the von Quadt family, the former monastery was converted into a manor house with associated farm buildings. During the French Revolution, the castle was expropriated and later auctioned. In 1803, the Janson family acquired the property and carried out alterations, particularly to the functional buildings.

The Quadtsches Schloss is located in Dirmstein in the district of Bad Dürkheim in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, at an elevation of approximately 106 m above sea level.
