The Detlev Rohwedder House in Berlin-Mitte, an administrative building, was constructed in 1935 and now houses the Federal Ministry of Finance.
History+
Following the Nazi seizure of power in January 1933, the establishment of an air force was planned. On February 2, 1933, the ordinance on the Reich Commissioner for Aviation was issued. Hermann Göring was appointed Reich Commissioner. In April 1933, the authority was elevated to the status of a Reich Ministry. One of its first official acts was the unlawful acquisition of Hugo Junkers' patents. From 1933 to 1945, Erhard Milch served as State Secretary.
