The Auerbach Manor (Lower Part) is a manor and estate house located in the Vogtland district of Saxony.
History+
The origins of the Auerbach Manor date back to 1696, when two separate manors were established in Auerbach. From 1875, these were referred to as the Upper and Lower Parts. The Lower Part of the Auerbach Manor was initially owned by the von Planitz family. In 1839, the property passed to Heinrich von der Bünau, and later to Adolf Volkmar Opitz. From 1912, the city of Auerbach acquired the estate and used it as an administrative building, before it served as a museum from 1950 onwards.
