In Beucha, a manor house owned by the von Haugwitz family is first mentioned in 1225. In 1551, the estate was elevated to a knight's estate. Ownership changed to Wolf von Ende and in 1622 to the von Kötteritz family, who built a new manor house on the walls of a predecessor building in 1654-56.
