At a crossroads, a knight is said to have once built a fortified house. It was supposedly a small moated castle. The knight even had a small chapel built. Today, the moated castle and the chapel have long since disappeared. Today, the Binnerste Hof stands there. In 1666, the Teutonic Order acquired the building, which in 1844 belonged to the widow Schaafhausen. Above the front door is a beautiful, old coat of arms of Felix von Roll.
In 1941, the farm received an air-raid shelter. The outbuilding was slightly raised in the 1960s. Partially, the Binnerste Hof was surrounded by a moat, which was fed by the diverted Lötzelbach stream. The dovecote dates from the 1850s.
