Building History
Neschwitz was first mentioned in 1350 as the seat of Johannes de Doberswicz. Later, a moated castle was built. In 1570, a manor house owned by Count von Sulkowski was mentioned, which emerged from the moated castle. After this, ownership changed in 1757 to the von Riesch family, in 1780 to the Jaggler family, and from 1792 until their expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945 to the Seyfert family. After the war, the house served as a school.
