Döberkitz Manor House+
A manor in Döberkitz is first mentioned in 1536 as being owned by Heinrich von Haugwitz. In 1698, the manor is referred to as a knight's estate. Ownership later passed to the Counts zur Lippe. The manor house was built in the 18th century. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Subsequently, refugees were accommodated in the manor house. After this, the house was used as an orphanage. Following a renovation around 1980, the house was used as a home for people with disabilities.
