The Drimbornshof in Eschweiler-Dürwiß is a manor and estate house, with origins dating back to the 14th or 15th century. As a former noble residence of the Lords of Drimborn, it shapes the local landscape and houses a museum as well as office spaces.

History+

The first documented mention of the Lords of Drimborn as owners of the estate dates to 1585. The family, whose roots are likely in Dreiborn in the Eifel region, lost its male line around 1670, after which ownership passed to Bernhard Everhard von Bottlenberg through marriage. In 1823, Wilhelm Steffens acquired the estate, bequeathing it to his son in 1867. Later owners included the von Papen family and BIAG Zukunft.
