To be privately owned
Elmshausen Manor

The listed complex from 1586 has been owned by the Winter family (today: Ohm-Winter) since 1856. The last Nassau district president inherited the manor in 1856 from the Grand Ducal Hessian Privy Councillor Friedrich von Breidenbach. When the Duchy of Nassau was annexed by Prussia in 1866 and the district government was thus dissolved, he retired to Elmshausen. After his death, his nephews Gustav and Wilhelm Winter took over the manor, whose descendants own the manor today.
