History of the Manor House+
In Großgrabe, Jorge von Gorlicz is documented as the lord of the manor in 1481. In 1563, the estate is referred to as a knight's estate. Ownership changed in 1816 to Hans Wilhelm Graf von Kalckreuth and in 1817 to the Counts of Stollberg-Stollberg. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Thereafter, the estate was used as an LPG (Agricultural Production Cooperative). The manor house served as an apprentice dormitory. In June 2006, the manor house changed to private ownership.
