Klösterlein Manor
In Aue-Zelle, Rittergut Klösterlein is a historic manor and estate house, distinguished by its long history and transformation from a monastic outwork to a representative residential and commercial building.
History+
The origins of the current building date back to before 1527, when it served as an outwork of a monastery that was dissolved in that year. Following a fire in 1816, the manor house was rebuilt. Johann Traugott Lohse was responsible for the redesign, commissioned by Carl Erdmann von Brandenstein. In 1846, the property was owned by Carl Friedrich Mehnert.
