Leipnitz Manor

Leipnitz Manor was owned by the von Haugwitz family in the 17th century. Ownership then passed to the von Erdmannsdorf family, in 1741 to Achaz von der Schulenburg, later to the von der Becke family, and from 1920 until their expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945 to Anneliese Countess von der Schulenburg. The manor house was built in 1879-81 on the walls of a previous building. From 1945-2005, the house served as a children's and youth home. The house was renovated in 1994-96. The house has been vacant since 2005.
