History of the Manor House+

In the 15th century, the estate was owned by the von Mergenthal family. In 1477, Hans von Mergenthal sold his property to the von Römer family. In 1553, the estate was elevated to a knight's estate. In 1565, ownership transferred to the city of Zwickau.
