Meyenburg Manor
Meyenburg originated from a moated castle after the subjugation of the peasant republic of Osterstade in 1233, built on the initiative of the Archbishop of Bremen by the knight von Wersebe from Wersabe. The village of Meyenburg developed from the outer bailey, the area where the knight's squires were settled. The current house was built around 1504.

The mill was subject to various noble families from the region. The von Wersebe family took possession of the house and resides in the knight's castle to this day.
