The upper village of Klipphausen in Saxony is characterized by Rittergut Miltitz, a former manor and estate house. Its history dates back to the 15th century, and it was owned by noble families.

History+

The estate was first documented in 1457 as a knight's court. It served as the ancestral home of the Lords of Miltitz, who owned it until the 17th century. In 1551, it was listed as an old-script-seated knight's estate, whose owners exercised hereditary and high jurisdiction. After the Lords of Miltitz, the Lords of Luckowien (Luckawen) took over the estate until 1710.
