History+
Early Owners
The manor was owned by Melchior Christoph von Gersdorf before 1653. After 1653, it belonged to Hans George von Schweinischen. In 1705, J. Chr. von Heldreich bought it. Further owners included the Lords von Nostitz; von Warnsdorf; von Metzradt, the Wehle family, and Zenker. In 1863, the Directorate of the Landständische Bank of the Royal Saxon Margraviate of Upper Lusatia bought it and built an experimental station here. Around 1910, the manor house was rebuilt. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Today, the Lebensgut residential community lives here.
