Manor House Syhra+
History+
A manor house in Syhra was first mentioned in 1308 as being in the possession of Petrus de Sirowe. From the middle of the 15th century, the estate was owned by the von Einsiedel family. In 1551, the estate was an outwork to the Gnandstein manor and from 1696, an independent manor. The current manor house was built around 1620 on the walls of an old moated castle. In 1945, the von Einsiedel family was dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Subsequently, the building was used for municipal administration. Today, the house is once again owned by the von Einsiedel family.
