Trünzig Manor

The Trünzig manor was first mentioned in 1553 as being in the possession of the Lords of Nischwitz. In 1690, ownership transferred to the von Uffel family. In 1749, Carl August von Uffel had the manor house built on the walls of a previous building. In 1831, Hermann Carl von Uffel sold the estate to Count Friedrich Magnus II zu Solms-Wildenfels. From 1857, there were several changes of ownership. In 1893, ownership transferred to Baron Speck von Sternburg. In 1911, the manor house was rebuilt into its current form. After this, ownership changed in 1913 to Ernst Fischer and from 1941 until his expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945 to Fritz Wolf. Later, a nursing home was established in the house.
