History+

Originally, Valenbrook Estate was part of Elm Castle. In 1774, after the death of the last feudal lord, Gustav von der Lieth, the property passed into the possession of Georg von Hannover. In 1895, Lambert Leisewitz, a merchant from Bremen, acquired the manor. Ten years later, he had the current, listed manor house and the associated farm buildings constructed.
