Zumdahl Manor (Geilenkirchen)

The origins of Gut Zumdahl likely date back to the 15th or 16th century. It is believed that Haus Dahll, depicted in the Codex Welser of 1723 as belonging to a Mr. Graass, might be identical to today's Zumdahl. A connection to Jacobus de Valle sive Dhall, provost in Heinsberg in 1498, is also considered. Before 1846, it was owned by Theodor Anstrup, followed by the Havers family and later the Schoen family. Around 1900, the complex belonged to a Mrs. Oberlandesgerichtsrat Schoen from Colmar.
