The Roman Villa Rustica Tegelberg is an ancient settlement from the 2nd century AD, located in Schwangau in the Ostallgäu district, Bavaria, Germany. The remains of the original frescoes from the bathhouse are preserved and are considered significant to Roman art.

History+

The Roman settlement at Tegelberg, sometimes interpreted as an extensive Villa Rustica, emerged around the middle of the 2nd century AD and may have been attracted by local ore mining. The first ancient walls were discovered as early as 1934/35.
