The Roman Fort of Alavna Veniconvm, also known as Ardoch Roman Fort, is an archaeological site in Scotland. It is considered one of the best-preserved Roman military camps in Britain.

History+

The complex near Braco includes the remains of several Roman forts and camps that were once part of the Roman Gask Ridge. This chain of military outposts stretched in a north-south direction, with individual camps approximately a day's march apart. Alavna Veniconvm was an important link in this chain, which also included other camps such as Strageath, Inchtuthil, and Raedykes. The surviving earthworks are among the most complete in the entire Roman Empire.
