Red Castle Triesdorf
The castle was built from 1730 to 1732 as a heron and falcon house by Leopoldo Rettÿ according to plans by court architect Carl Friedrich von Zocha. From 1758 to 1760, it was converted into a residence for Margrave Christian Friedrich Carl Alexander by Johann David Steingruber. Today, the castle is used as an animal husbandry school by the Triesdorf Agricultural Education Centers.
