Vorgeschichte und Bau
Das Schloss wurde 1730 bis 1732 nach Plänen von Hofbaumeister Carl Friedrich von Zocha durch Leopoldo Rettÿ als Reiher- und Falkenhaus errichtet. 1758 bis 1760 erfolgte ein Umbau zum Wohnsitz für Markgraf Christian Friedrich Carl Alexander durch Johann David Steingruber. Heute wird das Schloss als Tierhaltungsschule der Landwirtschaftlichen Lehranstalten Triesdorf genutzt.
