Eggersberg Castle is a castle ruin on the Kirchfelsen (Church Rock) above the Altmühl behind Eggersberg Palace, immediately north of the Obereggersberg district of the city of Riedenburg in the district of Kelheim in Bavaria.

The hilltop castle was built in the 13th century and first mentioned in 1326 as the fortress of Eggersberg, owned by the Bavarian dukes. Other co-owners of the castle were Wilhelm der Fraundorfer at the end of the 14th century, Balthasar Muracher around 1417, Haimeran von Muggenthaler in 1435, and Georg von Pappenheim in 1480, as well as Knight Jörg von Helfenstein in …
