The Grosselfingen ruin, also known as Neuhaus Castle, was once the center of a community distinguished by special rights.

History+

The history of the Grosselfingen ruin is closely linked to the Lords of Bubenhofen. This lesser noble family significantly shaped the town from the beginning of the 15th century until 1522. Under their rule, Grosselfingen experienced a period of prosperity, manifested in privileges such as its own parish, high jurisdiction, and market rights. Neuhaus Castle was built around 1420 and served as the ancestral seat of the Bubenhofen family.

The Grosselfingen ruin is located in the upper village of Grosselfingen in the Zollernalb district, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It stands at an elevation of approximately 510 meters above sea level.
