The remains of the Castle can be visited

The Luginsfeld ruin, a former tower castle, stands about 120 meters above the Danube valley on the southwestern tip of the Leutenberg. This site, located east of Tuttlingen, is characterized by its position and the excavated wall remains.

History+

The construction of Luginsfeld Castle took place between the 11th and 13th centuries. As a tower castle, it was surrounded by a double moat. In the 20th century, excavations uncovered wall remains. The castle complex covered an area of approximately 20 by 14 meters.
