Nostitz Castle (Ruin)
The manor was first mentioned in 1280. In 1439, ownership passed to the Lords of Baudissin and in 1541 to the Lords of Gersdorff, who kept it until 1638. Under them, the manor was elevated to a knight's estate in 1563.
Further owners were the Lords of Ziegler and Klipphausen, who had the manor house expanded into a castle around 1680. Afterwards, ownership passed to the Lords Schmeiß von Ehrenpreisberg and the Noble von Lossa. In 1777, the Counts of Bressler bought the knight's estate. During the Napoleonic Wars, the castle was destroyed on September 10, 1813. Since then, it has been a ruin.
