The "Schlösslein" Ruin+

The "Schlösslein" ruin consists of wall remnants on the Tannenberg, one kilometer north of Schwarzenhammer. At the instigation of the hunting and pleasure-loving Margrave Friedrich, a "salon" was to be built here in 1762, as an addition to the Kaiserhammer hunting lodge. The massive masonry, over 3 m high, 11 m long, and 8 m wide, is still visible. The building, popularly known as "Frauenhaus" (Women's House), was never completed.
