Wildberg Castle (Ruin)

The remains of the Castle can be visited

The castle was built in the 12th century by the Counts of Wildberg. After their extinction in 1368, it fell to the Prince-Bishopric of Würzburg, which used it as an administrative seat, leading to its destruction in 1525 during the German Peasants' War.
