Wildentierberg Castle (Ruin)
The Wildentierberg ruin is on the Kugelbergle in Margrethausen, a district of Albstadt. Remnants of the former hilltop castle are preserved.
History+
The origins of Wildentierberg Castle date back to the first half of the 13th century, when it was built by the Lords of Tierberg. The complex was first mentioned in a document in 1313. Around the year 1400, the castle was abandoned. The Counts of Stauffenberg were also among its owners. In 1931, excavations uncovered the foundations of the former castle complex.

The Wildentierberg ruin is located in Margrethausen in the Zollernalbkreis district, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It stands at an elevation of approximately 708 meters above sea level.
