The former Salesianerinnenkloster in Sulzbach today houses a music school.
History+
The Salesian Sisters established themselves in Sulzbach as early as 1692, dedicating themselves to girls' education. The official founding of the monastery, consecrated to Saint Hedwig, took place in 1753 by Eleonore Philippine von Sulzbach, the widow of Duke Johann Christian von Sulzbach. With the secularization in 1809, monastic life came to an end, but the associated church remained. The monastery buildings themselves underwent various uses in the following decades, including as a rent office, district court, and from 1850 as a barracks.

The former monastery is located in Sulzbach in the Amberg-Sulzbach district in Bavaria, Germany, at an elevation of approximately 417 meters above sea level.
