Amberg Castle
Schloss Amberg: A Historical Overview+
Schloss Amberg was built in 1493 by Felix Merklin. In 1555, Emperor Ferdinand I gifted the property to his Vice-Chancellor Jakob Jonas von Buch und Udelberg. From the 16th to the 20th century, the castle had more than 15 further owners. Since 1928, the castle has been owned by the Scheyer family.
