Schloss Bahrdorf+
A knight's seat in Bahrdorf is already mentioned in the 13th century as being owned by the Lords de Bardorpe. They built a moated castle in 1340. From 1613–26, the castle served as a dower house for the widowed Duchess Elisabeth. The castle fell into disrepair and was converted into a ducal estate in the 18th century, which still exists today. Only the keep of the old castle remains.
