Berghof Castle

Schloss Berghof+
History+
Schloss Berghof was built in 1839 according to plans by Moritz von Löhr for Ignaz Castelli. Renovations and extensions took place in the second half of the 20th century. It formerly featured a landscaped park. In 1854, ownership passed to Rudolf von Vivenot, then to Alfred von Lindheim until 1914. From 1960, the castle belonged to the State of Lower Austria and was adapted into a state vocational school. The late-classical building with a two-story central section under a hip roof and single-story side wings features a balcony projection on its main facade.
