Berthelsdorf Castle near Herrnhut dates back to Nikolaus Ludwig Count von Zinzendorf und Pottendorf. The devout man belonged to a Lower Austrian noble family who had converted to Electoral Saxony in the 17th century due to their Protestant faith.
