Binau Castle

Binau Castle is located in the heart of the village above a walled garden, which possibly offered centrally aligned parterres, only a few meters above the Neckar river level. After the castle, built in 1742 in place of a previous building, was briefly used as a hotel guesthouse, it has housed a nursing home since 1963. In between, from September 1944, the administration and the property chamber of the Natzweiler-Struthof concentration camp were housed there. From 1996, the interior of the castle was renovated and modernized.
