Bündorf Castle
Schloss Bündorf+
Schloss Bündorf is already mentioned in 1266 as castrum bugindorph. Owners were the Bishops of Torgau and the family von Bündorf. In 1725, ownership changed to Ludwig Adolph Freiherr von Zech, who had the old Renaissance castle demolished in 1730-31 and a baroque castle built. In 1945, the Counts von Zech - Burkersroda were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. The castle has been vacant since 1996.
