Cavertitz Castle

School

Cavertitz is located between Dahlen and Strehla. Already in the 14th century, there was a manor house in Cavertitz. However, the castle was not built until 1906. The initiator was the liqueur manufacturer Arnold Heinrich Rudolf, who founded the Bramsch liqueur factory in Dresden. The exterior architecture contains stylistic elements of red Rochlitz porphyry. The copper-roofed tower structures are striking. After 1945, a school was established in the castle, thus saving the building from demolition.
