Chodová Planá Castle
The origins of today's Chodová Planá Castle, also known as Kuttenplan, date back to 1734, when the Baroque manor house was built. It presented itself as a two-winged, multi-story building, crowned by a mansard roof, and was surrounded by a park with old trees. After the end of the Second World War in 1945, the then German owners of the castle were dispossessed and expelled, a process that was legally legitimized by the so-called Beneš Decrees.
