Cronheim Castle
The "von Leonrod'sches Schloss"+

The former "von Leonrod'sches Schloss" was built as a moated castle (four-wing complex) in 1564 by the Lords of Cronheim. A predecessor complex is already mentioned in the 15th century. In the 19th century, parts of the castle were demolished.

Architecture+
The castle was originally a four-wing complex with four corner towers. Today, only two wings and two towers remain. The remaining parts of the castle are in good condition and are regularly maintained.
Current Use+
The castle is privately owned and is not open to the public. It is used as a residential building and for events.
