Dechantsees Castle

To be privately owned

The hydropower of the Höllbach was used in earlier times for the operation of a hammer mill. The owner could afford a representative building, a castle. Thus, Dechantsees Castle was built in the 17th century. In 1723, the castle was converted into a Hofmark. In 1796, a renovation took place.
