Döhlau Castle

The castle was one of three knightly seats in the village. It initially belonged to the knightly noble family of Rabensteiner zu Döhlau. In the mid-17th century, after the family died out, there was a rapid change of ownership among the families of Kotzau, Eckersberg, Machwitz, and Falkenstein, until it passed to the family of Pühel. The current building was constructed after a fire in 1702. Since 1791, the family of Waldenfels has been the owner. Two epitaphs from the parish church of Döhlau were placed at the castle entrance.
