History+

Originally conceived in 1723 as a long building, Donaueschingen Castle underwent a redesign between 1893 and 1896. During this period, it was rebuilt in the Neo-Baroque style and adorned with a dome. The castle complex includes other buildings: The stables were built around 1850 under the direction of Theodor Dibold.
