Donzdorf Castle, located in the middle of the city of Donzdorf in the Göppingen district of Baden-Württemberg, was built in 1568 on behalf of Hans von Rechberg zu Hohenrechberg zu Illeraichen-Scharfenberg. The three-story Renaissance building with four octagonal towers was rebuilt several times over the centuries.

From 1764 to 1765, the castle park was created south of the castle as a baroque garden. At the beginning of the 19th century, it was transformed into its current form as an English landscape garden. In the walled park, there is a sundial in front of the castle pond.

Through a purchase agreement from 1987, the castle was sold by Count von Rechberg und Rothenlöwen to the city of Donzdorf. The castle garden has been open to the public since 1992. Since May 1995, the castle has served as the administrative center of the city of Donzdorf. On the ground floor is the castle restaurant, designed in Venetian style by an architect from Venice, with a historic vaulted hall.
