History+

The first documented mention of Dornbach Castle dates back to 1462, when it was owned by Andreas von Weißbriach. The Counts of Lodron owned the property from 1639 to 1932. The current castle evolved from a residential building of an original 14th-century castle and acquired its Renaissance form in the 15th and 16th centuries.
