In Carinthia, Drauhofen Castle, a structure from the 16th and 17th centuries, rises. It has striking seven-sided towers and sgraffito decoration.

History+

The origins of Drauhofen Castle date back to the 16th century, with the current three-story building taking shape in the 16th and 17th centuries. The two seven-sided towers at the ends of the northeastern main facade are topped with pyramid roofs. These towers, as well as the window frames, are adorned with sgraffito quoins and frames. Inside, stucco reliefs from the late 17th century are in the former chapel of the north tower, while the south tower preserves a wooden ceiling from the 18th century.
